Booblacon '08
Parties at the Radiance factory rock! Booblacon '08 was no exception. Cool ass people coming together to party and
raise money for a good benefit is something I am down with all day long.
The part of this event that I thought made it stand out was the diversity of talent and art form. Starting with profound
and positive spoken word/ live jam band Global Comunity Reserrection. Moving through to not one, but two bad ass rock bands
Judge Unger & Castles in Spain; both with women lead singers! Yeah! Mc's with live beat-boxing performances were a real
treat. Later on, a plethora of Fantastically skilled dj's spinning wild fun music making every body MOVE.
To top it all off it was being broadcasted and recorded live on the internet. There was a lot of energy and time setting
up the live broadcast. Props to them. In addition to all the great music there was live interactive drawing and painting that
anyone could involve themselves in. A unique gift to the audience in my eyes.
Last but not least, there was a fully loaded bar and keg with some good beer from Mendocino. Not to mention
the sweet bartender with that sweet smile(*wink*wink*)
It was a great time with awesome people for a righteous cause. I'm happy to have been there and I can't wait to go
again. Support Booblacon '09!
